The simplest way to put an end to the harassment is simply to approach the harasser and let them know that their behavior is inappropriate. If you're a union worker, taking your union rep. with you to confront the harasser is ideal. They can express to them that their actions are illegal.
"Report the conduct to your supervisor, or to a higher authority if your supervisor is the harasser, if your employer has a complaint procedure, follow it; if not, take your complaint to a personnel officer." (Wolfe, 1996)
Document the harassment! Write down what happened in detail; when it happened, how you responded, and who was there. Sending a certified, return-receipt letter to the harasser asking that the conduct stop is also a option. If you go through with this option make sure to keep a copy for yourself.
Finally, seek support from a friend or a colleague, not only will they help you emotionally, it also gives you a chance to learn of others who have been your same situation or even harassed by the same person and how they went about it and got over it.
